Have a Write Your Own Book Workshop!
In 1 ½ hours your students will outline
and share their character, setting, plot, ending and begin
their first paragraph! I have presented the “Write Your
Own Book Workshop,” to many schools throughout Utah and
would love to come to your class. Since this workshop is a
hands-on opportunity, I prefer working with one class at a
time, but will work with your school’s need. I am open
to suggestions.
I have also given lectures on various topics,
including “Writing is Exciting” and "Journaling."
I have presented my ideas for groups of all sizes. I have
enjoyed participating in the “Writer’s in Residence
Program,” sponsored by the PTA, “Career Day,”
and those times when a classroom is planning on creating their
own picture books they will later have bound professionally.
I will gladly travel outside the Salt Lake
City, Utah area for the cost of expenses.
